Return and Refund Policy

At Nemichand Jewels, we value transparency and fair business practices. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.


1. GENERAL POLICY

All jewellery sold by Nemichand Jewels is carefully inspected and packed before dispatch.

Due to the nature of jewellery products, returns or replacements are accepted only in limited cases, as described below.


2. ELIGIBLE RETURNS / REPLACEMENTS

A return or replacement request will be accepted only if all of the following conditions are met:

  • The product is damaged, defective, or incorrect at the time of delivery

  • The issue is reported within 24 hours of delivery

  • A clear, unedited unboxing video showing the sealed package opening is provided

  • Original packaging, invoice, and product are intact and unused

Once verified, we will offer a replacement or refund, as applicable.


3. NON-ELIGIBLE RETURNS (IMPORTANT)

We do not accept returns, replacements, or refunds in the following cases:

  • Change of mind / personal preference

  • Tarnishing (natural property of silver)

  • Damage after delivery

  • Breakage due to use, mishandling, accidental damage, or wear and tear

  • Size issues once the product has been accepted

  • Weight-related expectations (jewellery is sold per piece, not by weight)

  • Products without original packaging or proof

  • Requests raised after the allowed reporting period

Jewellery is a delicate product, and post-delivery damage is not the seller’s liability.


4. PURITY & HALLMARK DISCLAIMER

Our jewellery is made using 925 sterling silver.
Minor purity variations of ±2% to ±2.5% are industry-accepted.

Due to size limitations, some small items (such as nose pins and nose rings) may not carry a visible hallmark.

Any purity-related concern must be reported at the time of delivery as per this policy.


5. REFUNDS

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method

  • Shipping charges, if any, are non-refundable

  • If a replacement is provided, no refund will be issued


6. ORDER CANCELLATION

Cancellation by Customer

  • Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement

  • A processing / payment gateway charge may be deducted

  • Orders already dispatched cannot be cancelled

Cancellation by Nemichand Jewels

We reserve the right to cancel an order due to:

  • Stock unavailability

  • Pricing or listing errors

  • Payment verification issues

In such cases, a full refund will be issued.


7. RETURN SHIPPING

If a return is approved:

  • The customer must follow the instructions shared by our support team

  • Unauthorized or self-shipped returns will not be accepted


8. HOW TO RAISE A RETURN REQUEST

  • Photos and unboxing video

  • Brief description of the issue

Requests not meeting the above requirements may be rejected.


9. DISPUTES & GOVERNING LAW

This policy is governed by Indian law.
All disputes, if any, shall be subject to Mumbai, Maharashtra jurisdiction only.
